Welcome to the UK and to ZAUK, we hope we will be a part of your journey here and that we will meet at one of our events during the year.

The first few months in the UK can be quite daunting, having to navigate around the public transport system (which by the way is a million times better than in ZA), opening bank accounts, finding a home, finding a job, transferring your drivers licence and so the list goes on.

Added to this is the fact that you have left behind friends and family and of course the much spoken about weather is not quite the same as in ZA. Two pieces of good news, you will find that things do get a lot better in every aspect of life in the UK the longer you stick it out  and we have tried to give you some info which might make your lives a bit easier when you 1st arrive. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need any more advice....
