There are limited tickets, so ensure you book your by clicking on the link at the top of the page. Should tickets still be available on the day, you will be able to purchase them at the entry, however it is advised to book your tickets on line before hand.

Children under 16 have free entry.

Getting to Welwyn Garden City Rugby Club:

By rail...

There are regular trains from London Kings Cross to Welwyn Garden City (approx every 30 minutes). For train times, go to www.nationalrail.co.uk.

When you come off the platform, walk over the railway bring, through the shopping centre and up the road to the fountain. Turn left and follow the ZAUK signs - it should take 15 minutes. Alternatively, there are taxis outside the shopping centre to take you directly there for no more than £4.

By car....

Welwyn Garden City is outside of the M25 and just off the A1. Click here for a map - click on the directions button and put your postcode in to get fantastic door to door directions.

Parking:

There is ample parking available at the rugby club for a small fee (approx £1) which the club charges.

Rugby matches:

London South Africa Rugby Club, Welwyn Garden City Rugby Club, Springbok Supporters Club and ZAUK will be playing a number of matches from 11am. Make sure you get there early! The final schedule will be posted closer to the time.

Springbok Supporters Club - children's rugby training:

The Springbok Supporters Club, headed by Cobus Visagie (ex Springbok) will be running children's rugby training sessions for £8 per child. If you would like to reserve a place for your child, please do so here. There are only 60 places available.

Cash points:

There will be no cashpoints at the event, therefore please ensure you bring sufficient cash with you. Should you require a cash point on the day the closest ones are at the Welwyn Garden City railway station and Howard shopping centre.

Food and beverages:

The rugby club will have a full bar available in addition to our South African bar in the marquee.

From 11am to 5pm there will be a braai so boerie rolls will be available all day. For the evening African Steakhouse will be selling some of our favourite SA meals.

What if the weather is rubbish on the day?

The rugby club is fairly large inside and we have a marquee tent - so no matter what the weather the day will go ahead. Rugby will go ahead outside though...
